“La mattina quando ti svegli ricorda sempre che tu sei la persona più importante della tua vita! Abbine cura!”
– Stephen Littleword
(Every morning when you wake up, always remember that you are the most important person in your life! Take care of yourself!)
This beautiful phrase crossed my path this morning, and it made me stop and reflect. As women, as mothers, as nurturers, we often pour our hearts into caring for others. But how often do we remind ourselves that we, too, deserve love, care, and appreciation?
I’ve been thinking a lot about creating more jewellery pieces specifically for mums. Jewellery that celebrates motherhood, but also the individual woman behind that role. Right now, my Coccinella Pendant is a lovely choice for new mothers—a symbol of luck and protection. However, I feel the desire to expand this idea further.
Imagine a ring or bracelet that holds a child’s birthstone, carrying a piece of your little one wherever you go. Or a design that embodies the journey of motherhood, with subtle yet meaningful details.
Motherhood comes in many forms, and not all women are mothers in the traditional sense. Some nurture their dreams, their passions, their loved ones, and even themselves. My vision is not to create limits but to celebrate the beautiful diversity of a woman’s life.
Jewellery should be a reminder of joy, of strength, of self-love. Whether it’s a mother’s ring, a symbol of new beginnings, or simply a piece that brings confidence and elegance to your everyday life, my goal is to create collections that uplift and inspire.
I’m in a moment of reflection with my brand—wondering how to best move forward while staying true to my passion for nature-inspired, sustainable fine jewellery. But one thing is clear: I want to bring more joy to women, especially mothers, because we mums often forget to care for ourselves. Jewellery can be a small yet powerful reminder that we, too, deserve moments of beauty and self-love.
What kind of jewellery would make you feel celebrated as a mother or as a woman? I would love to hear your thoughts!
