Sustainable Fine Jewellery for Effortless Elegance
Crafted in Valenza, Italy. Designed to become part of your story.
The Philosophy of Slow Luxury
It is a quieter philosophy — woven into every design, every material, and every decision we make.
We believe true luxury should never be rushed, overproduced, or created to be replaced. Instead, it should endure: gathering memories, meaning, and beauty over time.
As a small family atelier, our approach to sustainability begins with intention. We create made-to-order fine jewellery using responsibly sourced materials and traditional Italian craftsmanship — reducing waste while preserving artistry.
When I design jewellery, I imagine the moment it may be passed down.
From mother to daughter.
From one generation to the next.
Not discarded.
Treasured.
Because sustainability, to us, means creating pieces worthy of becoming heirlooms.
” I believe that, just as flowers make the world more beautiful, artful jewellery enriches our everyday lives.
And if I am to create, I want my work to be meaningful — not only in its aesthetics, but in the way it honors our planet.
That is why each MIYOCO piece is made to order, crafted with responsibly sourced materials and traditional Italian expertise.
It’s my way of reducing waste while preserving timeless artistry.”
— Miyo Lo Coco Amawa
Crafted Without Compromise
MIYOCO jewellery is handcrafted in Valenza, Italy — a town long regarded as one of the historic centres of fine jewellery craftsmanship.
For generations, master artisans worked behind Valenza’s narrow streets, where each atelier held techniques passed carefully from hand to hand.
Today, many of those independent workshops have disappeared, absorbed into larger systems where efficiency often replaces artistry.
MIYOCO chooses another path.
Every piece we create supports the continuation of authentic Italian craftsmanship
— preserving ateliers where jewellery is still made with patience, skill, and pride.
Why Valenza?
After years immersed in Tokyo’s fast-paced fashion world, founder and designer Miyo Amawa discovered that true elegance rarely asks to hurry.
That discovery led her to Valenza in 2007.
Here, artisans may work quickly, but only toward perfection. If a detail is not flawless, they begin again. Not because they must, but because excellence leaves no room for compromise.
This quiet devotion shapes every MIYOCO creation — from polishing hidden surfaces unseen by the wearer to refining the smallest details until they feel effortless.
From the rhythm of fast fashion to the calm of timeless creation, MIYOCO was founded to honour craftsmanship, value time, and create jewellery meant to accompany generations.
A Legacy in Every Design
Each MIYOCO piece is created beyond seasons and trends.
We design only a small number of collections each year and occasionally one-of-a-kind pieces for collectors. True beauty does not become more meaningful through repetition.
Instead, our jewellery is intended to gather significance over time.
One day, the piece you wear may become your daughter’s or granddaughter’s treasure — carrying memories, stories, and craftsmanship forward.
Not as waste.
As legacy.
Preserving the Future of Italian Artisanship
Choosing MIYOCO supports a different future for fine jewellery.
A future where young goldsmiths can still learn the art of creation rather than production.
Where independent ateliers continue to thrive.
Where craftsmanship remains deeply human.
Every MIYOCO piece contributes to preserving Valenza’s authentic artistry — because heritage survives only when it is chosen.
Materials That Respect the Earth
100% Recycled Gold
Because the Earth gives us beauty, we believe in giving back — not taking more. That’s why we use 100% recycled gold, refined locally in Valenza. By reclaiming precious metals from fine jewellery waste instead of new mining, we honor nature’s resources while preserving their rare brilliance.
Ethically Sourced Natural Diamonds
Even if you cannot tell whether a diamond is certified or lab-grown, you can feel the true brilliance gifted by the Earth. That is why we choose only ethically sourced and certified natural diamonds, selected for their integrity as much as their light. Every gemstone we use carries full traceability and responsible origin, ensuring that its beauty is pure — in both spirit and source.
Lost Wax Casting
Each MIYOCO jewel begins as a digital dream, shaped through 3D design and transformed into wax for casting. Through the lost wax method, where modern precision meets timeless craftsmanship, every piece takes form — with care, intention, and respect for the materials we cherish. This process minimizes material loss and allows us to sculpt delicate, organic forms with purpose and precision.
Beyond the Jewel
Sustainable in Spirit
Instead of mass-produced plastic boxes, we partner with a local jewelry box studio in Valenza, which has been crafting exquisite packaging for over a century.
Each box is crafted on demand — no mass-produced plastic, no excess inventory, just thoughtful design and care.
Our sustainability isn’t about perfection; it’s about intention.
Every step, from recycled gold to handmade packaging, reflects a choice to do better — for the planet, for artisans, and for the generations who will wear our creations.

Slow Creation, True Connection
Our jewellery is made-to-order, meaning each piece begins its journey only when your order is placed.
This eliminates unnecessary production, reduces waste, and ensures that every jewel exists for a reason — you.
Every design is reviewed, refined, and finished by hand.
This is what we call Slow Luxury — a return to the artistry and patience that true jewellery deserves.
