Designer Engagement Rings in Italy

Italy has long been a place where artistry and craftsmanship exist in harmony.

In towns like Valenza, jewelry is not simply manufactured—it is created by generations of artisans who understand that true luxury lies in the details you cannot immediately see.

My own journey began with a simple thought:

If people close to me were to get married, I wanted to design their rings.

But an engagement ring is something to be worn for a lifetime. I felt that neither a design degree nor experience at a large jewelry company alone was enough to take on that responsibility.

So I came to Italy.

Here, in Valenza, I learned fine jewelry making while working closely with craftsmen. Even after becoming independent, each bespoke commission became another step in my education.

Over time, together with my husband, we have created more than 500 ring designs—across bespoke pieces and collections.

Each one carries a story.

Some clients arrive with reference images.
Some begin with a simple idea: “something floral.”
Some bring their own sketches.

The Mitsue engagement ring was born from a personal story.

It was inspired by a dear friend—full of life, movement, and lightness.

The design reflects both a dancing snowflake and the delicate form of a blooming flower.

There is no rigidity.
It feels alive.

The diamond is not simply placed—it is held within a structure that allows light to move freely, like sunlight passing through petals.

This is made possible through my own design process.

Using 3D CAD, I create each structure from the inside out—considering not only how the ring looks in two dimensions, but how it exists in space.
