As a jewellery designer, I find inspiration in blending playfulness with everyday luxury. This year, my vision for MIYOCO, our sustainable luxury jewellery brand, is to refine this core value by crafting a collection that speaks to those who appreciate understated elegance. With this direction, I aim to elevate our timeless pieces, making them even more unique and meaningful.

Nature-Inspired Creations

Nature has always been my greatest muse, offering endless beauty and quiet wisdom. Therefore, this year, I am exploring simpler, more fluid designs inspired by natural formsMy goal is to create jewelry that feels like an organic extension of nature, bringing its wonder and tranquility into your life.

Sharpening Japanese Sensibility

The Japanese aesthetic of Iki—effortless elegance—remains central to MIYOCO. I am committed to crafting pieces that blend simplicity with sophistication. Clean lines, harmonious compositions, and understated details define this vision. As a result, this year, I am introducing a new type of stone setting inspired by the traditional ‘Tatewaku’ pattern, designed to express the misty elegance of fog over a river. To bring this idea to life, I plan to experiment with 3D CAD design and wax setting techniques.

Adding Playful Details

Luxury doesn’t have to be serious. My designs reflect both precision and imagination. While I may appear serious at first glance, my world is filled with whimsy. This year, I am incorporating more joy into my creations with playful details. Hidden diamonds and our “Secret Ocean – Portable Perfume Pendant Necklace” are just a few elements designed to surprise and delight. These details transform each piece into a story waiting to unfold.

Sustainability as a Core Value

Sustainability is at the heart of everything I do. From sourcing 100% recycled gold to using ethically sourced diamonds, every step reflects this commitment. Moreover, last year, we took a significant step forward by embracing bespoke practices, solidifying MIYOCO as a sustainable luxury jewelry brand. Our dedication ensures that each piece is crafted with care, responsibility, and respect for the environment.

Looking Ahead

As I reflect on the year ahead, I feel grateful for the opportunity to create and grow. MIYOCO will continue to evolve, celebrating nature, artistry, and sustainability. One of the most exciting projects on the horizon is the opening of a showroom in Valenza. While things take time in Italy, I remain hopeful. Additionally, I look forward to hosting pop-up events in Estonia, our home base, to share MIYOCO’s creations with a wider audience.
