After experiencing the pitfalls of excess in the fashion industry in Tokyo, the ethos of ‘NO MORE WASTE!!’ became my rallying cry. This led me to Valenza, Italy, where I embraced the world of fine jewellery, inspired by its rich heritage and craftsmanship. MIYOCO is born from a deep desire to create a sustainable and beautiful world for future generations.
Japanese Elegance and the Rhythm of Wabi-Sabi
For me, design is about transformation—turning your needs into beautiful forms that captivate from every angle. I infuse Tokyo’s “IKI” style into each piece, crafting an effortlessly elegant and chic aesthetic.
I also draw inspiration from Wabi-Sabi, a philosophy that finds beauty in imperfection. This rhythm of nature is reflected in my designs, creating jewelry that feels both timeless and alive, blending simplicity with sophistication.

Calogero, my husband and collaborator, is a master goldsmith whose artistry brings my designs to life. From his independent jewelry studio, JUNONE, in Valenza, he transforms gold and gemstones into exquisite pieces that embody nature’s beauty.

My journey started at Joshibi University in Japan, where I discovered my passion for design. A short jewelry-making course in Italy sparked my love for fine jewelry, and after working in the fashion industry in Tokyo, I returned to Valenza to dedicate myself to sustainable jewelry design.
With over 15 years of experience in 3D CAD modeling, I bring both innovation and tradition to my creations. MIYOCO is my way of combining Japanese elegance and Italian craftsmanship to tell your story through jewelry.
A Designer Mom Got Certification
When my daughter turned to 4 years old, finally I could get a few hours to dedicate for me. I gifted myself the enrollment to the digital jewellery design course and now I certified Pad Jewellery Design! I can showcase you my design for your dream jewellery project much better than before.
