My own journey began with a very simple thought:
If someone close to me were to get married, I wanted to design their ring.
But an engagement ring is not just another piece of jewelry.
It is something to be worn for a lifetime.
And I felt that neither a design degree nor experience in a large jewelry house alone was enough to take on that responsibility.
So I came to Italy from Japan.
In Valenza, I learned not only how to design, but how to create—working alongside craftsmen, understanding structure, balance, and the quiet discipline behind fine jewelry.
Even after becoming independent, each bespoke commission became part of my education.
Over time, together with my husband, we have created more than 500 ring designs.
Each one different.
Each one personal.
